Food Services

Monroe County Hospitals & Clinics Food Services Department offers a wide variety of menu items and snacks on a daily basis. For our inpatients, we offer a full room service dining menu. Room service offers patients individual choices of foods as well as the time of their meals. Guest trays are available at this time from nonselective menus at a cost of $3.

The 165th Street Bistro is open 24/7 and offers grab and go fruit, sandwiches, salads and other snacks as well as specialty coffee, juices, tea and pop through vending machine.

Cafeteria Menu

Breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. Lunch is served from 11:30 pm to 1:00 pm. Dinner is a cook to serve order system with nightly specials posted in the cafeteria from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The Food Services Department accepts cash or check for payment; no credit cards can be used.

A Registered Dietitian is available on Wednesdays to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). MNT is treatment based on nutrition. It includes checking a person’s nutrition status and giving the right foods or nutrients to treat conditions such as those caused by diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
