Hiring Process

Once your application is submitted to the Employee Services Department, an initial screening takes place; acknowledgement and status of the application will be communicated either electronically or mail.  Once the applicant is determined qualified for the position applied, the application will be forwarded to the appropriate manager for review and possible interview.  A team of peers will wrap up the final step of the interview process and will actually make a recommendation for hire based on their interview with the applicant.  MCHC follows this special process because we hire special people.  MCHC employees take personal interest and ownership in making sure the best person for the job is hired and that person will be the right fit.

Paid Time Off

Monroe County Hospital & Clinics recognizes the need to assist in work-life balance and for employees to be away from work occasionally. In recognition of this need, a flexible system of Paid Time Off (PTO) is provided to cover vacation, holidays, and personal days.
