As a patient at the Monroe County Hospital & Clinics you will find a safe and caring environment where you and your loved ones are our primary focus.  Our goal is to provide you personal safety as well as being committed to providing you very good patient care.  This means we listen attentively, provide you with personalized care, strive to meet your specific & individual needs, and work closely with you, your family and loved ones.  Your safety is important to us during your stay.  For your safety and comfort, our nurses will be at your bedside at least once every hour checking on your needs and you will receive a visit from our nurse manager to ensure you are receiving very good care at least once during your stay. 

Our commitment to your safety continues after your discharge.  After you are discharged home after a stay on our Medical/Surgical floor, you will receive a discharge phone call from one of our nurses to follow up on your condition and answer any questions and/or concerns you may have.

While you are a patient on our Medical/Surgical unit you will enjoy on-demand room service dining, and be able to enjoy cable television on flat panel screens.   You will be touched by the care you receive in our hospital.   If at any time you have a question or concern, our team is here to assist you in meeting your specific & individualized needs during your stay with us.  Our goal is to ensure every patient receives a world-class health care experience.
