Bobby Lippert is celebrating 38 years of service at MCHC this month. Bobby is a cook and a member of the fabulous MCHC Dietary Team. He grew up in Unionville, Iowa and graduated from Moulton-Udell High School. He completed his Culinary Arts degree at Indian Hills Community College. Bobby found MCHC in 1979 with the help of Max Owens, his lead instructor at IHCC. He remembers well that he interviewed for his job on a Wednesday (he was hired the same day), missed his college graduation ceremony on Thursday and started working the following Monday. When asked what he enjoys most about his career, Bobby replied, “I like cooking, working with my teammates and meeting new people.” Bobby’s personal goal is to provide the best customer service he can for the patients and community members he serves. Finally, Bobby shares his advice to others – Get a good education and put money away for a rainy day!
