Monroe County Hospice will be holding a “Be Prepared” educational seminar on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Albia. A free meal will be provided. Attorney, Steve Goodlow will facilitate discussion surrounding legal issues that may arise when planning funerals, such as making medical and/or financial decisions, medical or financial power of attorney, living wills, advanced directives, etc. Local funeral director, Bob Sinnott, from Sinnott-Pierschbacher Funeral Homes, will be discussing what you need to know when pre-planning your funeral. The “Be Prepared” seminar will focus on what you need to know about planning for end of life care, especially when faced with unexpected death. Please plan to attend this informative event.
