Crews began work at Monroe County Hospital & Clinics on Monday (9/19/11) to replace air conditioning units in the conference center wing of the hospital. As a result, the East 3 Entrance accessed via the main parking lot, will be closed to employees, patients and visitors through October 7, 2011. This is the entrance that is the most direct route to the Conference Center, Human Resources, and Hospice of Monroe County. Guests are asked to utilize the main entrance under the canopy or the East 2 Entrance (Administration) during this time. In addition, the Blood Drive through the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center scheduled on Monday, September 26th will be moved to another location.
The project is expected to take three weeks and the entrance will reopen on Saturday, October 8th.
