Monroe County Hospital & Clinics is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Freeman, M.D., specializing in oncology and hematology, to its team of providers replacing recently retired oncologist, Dr. Loren Brown. Freeman will visit the Susan Allison Outpatient Clinic on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Patients may schedule appointments by calling the Infusion Center at MCHC at 641.932.1653.
Dr. Freeman is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He earned his undergraduate degree from Drake University and completed his medical training at the University Of Iowa College Of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency at Iowa Health in Des Moines and a Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hematology and Oncology.
Freeman began seeing patients at MCHC on November 11, 2013.
