Dr. Kneller is a graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He was recently a resident at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center General Surgery residency program. He was chief resident with responsibilities including resident leadership, clinical coordination and medical education. He has had comprehensive training with a broad experience in open and laparoscopic techniques with a particular interest in hernia repair.
Dr. Kneller was the surgery resident teacher of the year in 2025. He participated in resident quality improvement and patient-care initiatives throughout his residency.
Dr. Kneller served in the United States Army/ United States Army Reserves from 2015-2021 as a combat medic.
Dr. Kneller sees patients and performs surgeries at MCHC every Tuesday.
