The Monroe County Hospital & Clinics Radiology Department would like to invite the public to attend a Breast Cancer Awareness Dinner. The event is scheduled for Friday, October 26, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the American Legion in Albia. This is a FREE event featuring women’s health education, entertainment, dinner, silent auction, and friendship. Seating is limited to the first 60 individuals.
This event is made possible through a grant awarded from the Southeast Iowa Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for a Cure Foundation. Proceeds from the silent auction will go to the Monroe County Mammography, a non-profit charitable organization within Monroe County Hospital & Clinics Radiology Department, to help purchase equipment.
Radiology Manager, Jenny Klyn, states “this is a great opportunity to get together with a girlfriend, your mom, sister or daughter for a fun, casual event and learn a little bit about breast health.”
