The Monroe County Hospital & Clinics Cardiac Rehabilitation expert, Jan Starcevic, RN will present a FREE Heart Health Lunch & Learn to the community on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Conference Center at the Hospital.
The event will feature a heart health discussion focusing on heart attack signs and symptoms, prevention, and risk factors facilitated by Starcevic along with a heart healthy lunch. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Jan Starcevic is a Registered Nurse with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of cardiology including 10 years in Cardiovascular Surgical ICU, 5 years at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia working with open heart surgery and heart transplant patients, and more than 8 years in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department at Monroe County Hospital & Clinics.
